LeBron James might be joining the inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday, but he’s already taken basketball to a new level: Creating the wildly popular (and absurdly profitable) “super team” that continues to put up wins (despite some questionable decisions over the last few seasons), but maybe not the most exemplary performance.
James has earned an official entry into the emerging Covid Protocols, which is known for creating franchises of super teams that are about more than just basketball.
Presently, James is a member of the Philadelphia 76ers–along with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, Jimmy Butler, Richaun Holmes, JJ Redick, Robert Covington, Boban Marjanovic, and Dario Saric–but he wants to make himself and some of his current teammates part of the New York Knicks.
Superstars or not, LeBron’s entrance into the New York Knicks’ Covid Protocols would most likely earn him plenty of points from the youth set.
Whether he joins forces with current stars Carmelo Anthony or Kristaps Porzingis in a separate franchise is to be determined, but he’s taking the revolutionary process to the next level.
